Meet the Artist
Allison Varah started painting LIVE for her church 17 years ago. Soon she found it was a way to help noble causes at galas and fundraisers throughout the state. Since that time Varah has painted for March of Dimes, Clinics with a Heart and Husker Baseball to name a few. Her art hangs in many homes including the home of Chancellor Ronnie Green, Matt Davison, and the parents of Darin Erstad. She is a sculptor and muralist with several public pieces in Nebraska, Iowa and Indiana. She has been interviewed on NPR, featured in NebraskaLife, and was the Lincoln Arts Council’s “Emerging Artist”. Allison lives with her husband and three kids in Ansley, Nebraska and teaches art at Litchfield Public Schools.
