Meet the Artist
Allison Varah is a performance painter, educator, and experimental artist whose work spans large-scale sculpture, murals, welded art, and live painting. Her artwork is featured in zoos, corporate offices, and private collections across the United States. Best known for her captivating live painting performances, Varah begins each event with a blank canvas and, through instinct and spontaneity, transforms it into a finished masterpiece before the audience’s eyes. She has been featured at Husker events, shareholder gatherings, galas, and corporate events nationwide and internationally, including the recent completion of three live paintings at the BioAgTech World Conference. Varah has been recognized as Nebraska K–12 Teacher of the Year, a 10/11 News Teacher of the Month, and a Touchdown for Teachers Award recipient.
